Meet the maker/owner behind DHO Candle Co. - Dalynn
Hello there!! I am extremely happy that you have stumbled upon our candle site. Started back in 2018, this little candle business came about when I, Dalynn injured my back and had to have it fused in my lumbar region L5-S1, just so I could regain some feeling in my legs. Never fully recovering to a 100%, I lost my job as a surgical technologist and needed a new purpose. A purpose to help me focus away from all the chronic neuropathy pain I was experiencing. Chronic pain and neuropathy is over whelming and can change even the strongest willed person, if you let it. Also a young mother at the time, I wanted to show my little guy, that anything is achievable if you never give up!! As we racked our minds on what I could do, my husband, Curtis mentioned I should follow my creative drive and start crafting something with my passion for essential oils and sell it. I immediately started researching and came up with a few salves made out of beeswax and essential oils. The need to create more was heavy on my heart and candle making was something I always thought to try, so here we are 6 years later, 10,000 soy wax candles poured and now happy to introduce you to DHO Candle Co.
DHO Candle Co formerly known as DHO Creations, emerged from a passion for craftsmanship and a desire to bring warmth and ambiance to every home. Founded in the heart of our local community, we sought to create candles that not only illuminated spaces but also told a story of artistry and authenticity. Our journey began in our small kitchen, where we dedicated ourselves to the art of handcrafting candles. Every step of the process was infused with care, from selecting the finest soy wax to meticulously blending fragrances that would evoke a sense of comfort and nostalgia. The name “DHO” represents our commitment to Design, Harmony, and Originality. We believe in the power of well-designed candles to enhance the harmony of any space, and our commitment to originality ensures that each candle is a unique masterpiece.
Our candles are more than just products; they are a reflection of the local community that has embraced us. We source our materials locally, supporting nearby artisans and businesses. The scents are inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds us, capturing the essence of our region and infusing it into each hand-poured candle.
